Why OS/2 doesn't recognize my card
Reason: Card Services allocate 4 kB window (usually inside of the 1st MB of memory) for access the CIS (Card Information Structure) of PC Card 16. The allocated window may be shadowed by BIOS or conflict with another hardware device.
Solution: Card "not recognized" means that "Plug and Play for PCMCIA" applet doesn't display card name properly.

The "Plug and Play for PCMCIA" applet or RMView utility displays memory address allocated for CIS access. Please try to exclude this address from the resource management using OS/2 RESERVE.SYS driver. The syntax is (as an example):

BASEDEV=RESERVE.SYS /mem:D000,1000

You may need to repeat the operation above several times before your card is recognized.
