Solution: | WE DO NOT RECOMMEND REMOVING
CARDWARE MANUALLY EXCEPT IF YOUR UNINSTALL INFO IS CORRUPTED!
If you really need removing CardWare installation manually, then you have to:
- Remove all the PCMCIA cards from the slots
- Modify CONFIG.SYS - remove loading of CardWare components:
DEVICE = C:\CARDWARE\DPMS.EXE MEM=XMS
DEVICEHIGH = C:\CARDWARE\PCCS.EXE
DEVICEHIGH = C:\CARDWARE\SSPCIC.EXE
DEVICEHIGH = C:\CARDWARE\PCENABLE.EXE
DEVICEHIGH = C:\CARDWARE\PCATA.EXE
DEVICEHIGH = C:\CARDWARE\PCSRAM.EXE
DEVICEHIGH = C:\CARDWARE\PCFLASH.EXE
DEVICEHIGH = C:\CARDWARE\PCDISK.EXE
- For Windows 3.x: delete CardWare program group from Program Manager's groups list
- Delete the CardWare installation directory with all it's contents (i.e. C:\CardWare)
